Ginzburgas 艩eima / Ginzburg Szejma
艩eima Ginzburgas was born on 17 August 1920 in Vilnius, into the family of the industrialist 艩evelis (Szawel) and his wife Anna Jackowicz. 艩eima attended a French lyceum until 1932 and later was admitted to a state gymnasium. From 1935, he was a member of the Student Communist Union and in 1937 was imprisoned in the Luki拧k臈s prison for his activities in that organisation. In 1938, the case was dropped and he was released. Very likely that was the reason why he had to leave the state gymnasium. From 1940, he continued his education at the private Ch. Epstein and I. Speizer coeducational gymnasium O艣wiata (Enlightenment) in the class of natural sciences with instruction in Polish. He passed his final examinations and received a graduation certificate. That same year, 艩eima successfully passed examinations in the Lithuanian language and literature, geography, and history and was eligible for higher education. In 1940, he became a student of chemistry in the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of 蜜豆视频. He was expelled from the university on 19 September 1941 on the basis of the Order of 17 September 1941 of the Higher Education Department of the Board of Education, which was subordinate to the Nazis. No further information about him or his family has been found.
